Safehk-Aubi: (n) Female. Twenty. Bisexual. English. Works in a bank, but she's much prefer to be a writer. (Well, either that or an international jetsetter. She's not too picky.) She just needs to get off her backside, and do something about it. Has way too many fandoms to be healthy (Reached over twenty at last count) and spends too much time on the Internet, mainly reading fanfiction. Is a bit of a lurker, but it trying her best to remedy that. Is now going to stop talking about herself in the third person.

I love fanfiction, and have been involved in it for about ten years now. I tend to switch from fandom to fandom quite suddenly, then flit back to one the old ones at the drop of a hat. I like long, plotty fics that grab my attention and hold it, and well written AUs. I used to be a slasher, but have grown to like almost anything, be it het, slash or femslash. The only thing I can say I don't like is incest, unless the couple in question in already incredibly screwed up in canon. Interestingly, I have little interest in the most popular het ships in a fandom, preferring the smaller ships. Also, a lot of canon ships that I like, one or both tend to die. I operate a 'don't like don't read' policy, and don't understand why people read things they don't like the sound of, and then leave poorly written reviews saying why the stores suck. There is a difference between constructive criticism and being insulting.

My user name comes one of the names of the Ancient Egyptian goddess of writing, knowledge and wisdom, Seshat. Everyone has a god or goddess they relate to, and she is mine.

My journal: In which I rant and rave about my life, my job at a bank, my (non-existant) social life, my insane family and my many fannish and geeky interests.

I can't promise that this journal will be coherent, have perfect spelling or perfect grammer. I post late at night, and have dyslexia, mainly affecting my memory and writing skill. One of the reasons for having this journal is to hopefully improve these skills.
